About me

In 1997 I moved from Sweden to the Cayman Islands and I did go back and fourth between Grand Cayman and Stockholm, Sweden for almost 20 years.

In the Caymans I was working as a Chef at various restaurants including Ritz-Carlton. For one year I was the chef on Cayman Aggressor, a liveaboard diving boat.

In 2012, after working many years in the hotel/restaurant business, mostly as a chef, I decided to change my career. So I went to Crestone Healing Arts Center in Colorado and took a 650 hours training in massage.

In Crestone I also learned a lot of Chinese medicine, and I am still using that knowledge today.

I am now working as a massage therapist in Spain. I am licensed in Colorado, U.S.A, in the Cayman Islands and I am also certified by Branschrådet Svensk Massage in Sweden. All after doing and passing the National Exams.

After my massage school we went back to Stockholm again, where we stayed for 2 years.

There I had my own studio and I also worked at Rehabtjanst AB at Fridhemsplan in Stockholm, where I had the opportunity to work with people that were going through rehab training, I learned a lot from that and also from the physiotherapists that was working there.

During the time in Stockholm I did two courses in Revolving®at Axelsons G.I.

Revolving® is a technique where you are releasing the fascia and by doing that get a better movement and flexibility in the body.

When I realized that working on my clients’ fascia helped, I continued to search for more teachers that could help me get a better understanding and a broader perspective on the subject fascia.

I found Erik Dalton, Oklahoma, USA on the internet. He uses a technique that he calls M.A.T (Myoskeletal Alignment Technique) and Tom Myers. Mr Myers is more a theoretical teacher, while Mr Dalton is more hands on.

Both of them have a history as Rolfing® practitioners. The combination of them both helped me to understand and gave me a tool to use in my work with fascia and connective tissue.

I had the chance to study for Mr Erik Dalton in Costa Rica for 1 week where I got a Diploma in M.A.T

I am also a 200 hr Yoga teacher and a Reiki Master.

I am still trying to learn more by studying and by practice every day.

We went back to the Cayman Islands where I worked at Beyond Basic Medical Spa and later on at Body Works Holistic Wellness Center for 3 years.

2017 we moved to Spain.
